The manager named Gabe Parr has excellent service. I bought a reel for the first time, but due to my carelessness, I got the wrong size. When I found out, I contacted them and they responded immediately and sent me new information immediately. This time I wanted to buy a brand new rod. I asked them and he answered my questions very patiently. I have already placed an order for this rod, and I believe this will not be the last time I buy from him because I am impressed by his service attitude and ability.

Sweet reel for the price point. Looks great, quiet drag, and feels good. Only con is drag must be turned many times to tighten drag. Handles 10 lb stripers with ease.

Galvan Precision

The Torque is a precision built, beautifully designed tool made in the USA. Matched this up with my Thomas & Thomas Zone and I have been wowed by it. Balances it out very well. Start up is smooth and the ergonomics of this reel are very well thought out. I am sold on Galvan and am now a life customer.

The standard for a good reel

Beautiful, decently light, not narcissistically expensive, and made in the USA. WIN. My wife won against a 30" Cutbow on a 5wt thanks to this reel.

Great Reel

I bought a purple Torque 6 that was coming from Galvan. The staff was great with answering my questions when I called about the status. When I finally received the reel I was amazing at how light it was. It's an amazing reel to use smooth with a strong drag and the purple is to die for!

The Best

I've had my Torque 5 for two years, but the acid test was when we went Spinney Reservoir in Colorado. My wife was using this reel + an Orvis Helios 3d 5 weight. She battled, and won, against some giants, and these fish were unlike any trout I've fought; they took long runs, deep dives, & it always wound up on the reel. Long story short, she pulled in some giants but wrangled a 30", 9lb trout thanks to this reel. The drag is about perfect. The weight is good enough. Adjustments are pretty much infinite. Looks are among the best. Price is better than most of the overpriced reels out there. Made in the US. Go Galvan!
