Introducing the CCF-X2, the newest and most advanced Nautilus reel family member.  Its award-winning dual-action CCF-X2 drag system boasts double the drag strength (20+ lbs), smoothness, and half the startup inertia of its predecessor.

Available in four sizes (6/8, 8/10, 10/12, and Silver King), each reel features a big-game handle, full Activseal technology, hybrid ceramic bearings, TPX bushings, and an oversized drag knob with the Infinajust system for smooth, zero-to-max drag adjustment in six turns.

6/8: A 4-inch large arbor reel for 6-8 weight lines.
8/10: Ideal for 8-weight lines, offering nearly 12 inches of line retrieval per handle turn with a WF8 line.
10/12: Sharing a frame with the 8/10, this 4.5-inch reel allows interchangeable spools for 8-12 weight lines.
Silver King: The world's lightest 5-inch big game reel, retrieving 14 inches of line per turn. It's fully sealed, equipped with hybrid ceramic bearings, TPX bushings, and an oversized drag knob with Infinadjust.

Nautilus also introduces Speyrings, an innovative solution for Spey anglers. Recognizing the challenges of thin running lines on full-frame reels, Nautilus previously offered Spey spools for their NV reels. Now, Speyrings offer a simpler, more cost-effective alternative.  These four small rings quickly attach to the Silver King's frame, closing the frame/spool gap to prevent thin lines (0.025" or less) from slipping.  This eliminates the need for dedicated Spey reels or thicker running lines, making the Silver King a truly versatile "one reel for all" option.

Great Reel

I now have four of these reels. Everything about them is solid (capacity/weight/knob/drag and sound). They are easy to maintain, the drag adjusts nicely and they are reasonably priced. I applied the backing and line on the first three in 2021and had fourth reel set up with line and backing prior to shipping. I was very pleased with the service and product.

Nautilus CCF X2 Silver King

Great service and fast shipping. Reel has worked flawlessly. Light enough for 10wt, but strong enough for 12wt. Everything from fast retrieval for permit to great stopping drag on tarpon and sharks.

What a great reel

I love this reel. I love the way it looks. I love the way it feels in my hand. I love the way it sounds. Unscrewing the cap to release the spool can be a pain, and the tippet can get stuck between the spool and frame when your storing the rod with the tippet wrapped around the base of the reel and the fly hooked to a guide, but I like it more than more than any other saltwater reel I've used.
