Solitude Blue Wing Olive – Thorax (D070T) 6-Pack
Blue Winged Olives (BWO) are often seen just about everywhere on rivers around the world. This important mayfly hatch is a member of the Baetis genus. The BWO-Thorax has the wing and hackle set a bit further back on the hook shank. This allows for the fly to ride a bit lower in the surface film to create very natural looking mayfly silhouette. Often Thorax style flies feature more hackling and may have a "V" cut in bottom hackle to help it ride lower.
