Bauer RVR Trout Specific Fly Reel This RVR Series is specifically designed for trout. Bauer offer sizes 2/3, 4/5, 6/7 with a Gold Hub. The Euro-Nymph and Microspey feature a CH Hub

Choose the RVR 2/3 for fishing small streams and creeks. This is a lightweight reel designed with a smaller capacity and perfect drag for trout and similar angling.

The RVR 4/5 is designed for larger trout, larger water and longer casts. The backing capacity, drag and weight are well-suited for more varied techniques of 4 and 5wt rods including floating lines, light sink tips, dries or wets.

The RVR 6/7 is your reel for heavier line weights used to target trophy fish with large, wind-resistant or heavy flies. The increased backing capacity is sufficient to handle the longest running trout. Intended applications are streamer fishing with floating or sink-tip lines, stillwater angling with floating, intermediate and full-sinking lines, as well as handling the aggressively-tapered lines needed to turn over large dry flies, poppers, articulated streamers, and double nymph rigs.
