Douglas Sky G Ultimate Presentation Fly Rod
The Douglas Sky G Fly Rods are lighter, stronger, structurally flexible and feature increased sensitivity. The Sky G Series offers improved tracking, dampening, and swing weight. These moderate fast action rods are better able to transfer energy as anglers should expect from extreme performance fly rods.
COMPOSED WITH GRAPHINE
The Sky G's multi-modulus blanks are composed with Graphene platelets. Graphene is known as the strongest material known to man! It's 10 times stronger then steel with only 5% of its density. Because Graphene is stronger, less material is required and this results in lighter blanks, increased sensitivity and an improved swing weight. This allows for superior accuracy due to the increased durability, dampening and recovery. Graphene is also a great conductor of energy which translates to a noticeably smooth and effortless cast.
The Sky Fly Rod Series was originally designed to utilized the space age nano carbon matrix materials to their maximum capabilities. Possessing a solid backbone that makes initiating a cast with ease. This amazing starting speed and lends itself to consistent longer than average casts with amazing accuracy. Purchase one today to experience the Sky difference from Douglas!

Exceeds Expectations
I've been fishing the Douglas DXF mid-priced series for awhile and decided to spend the money on their flagship rod. 9' 5 weight is incredibly light and loads well for my normal 30-40 ft dry fly casts using a Rio technical trout line. My accuracy is improved and it's a great looking rod as well.

Excellent
Just Excellent

The Best
Lite and performs so well. Would have to be one of the best without doubt.

The Best
Great gear and great service.

Very nice, easy to cast, versatile 5 wt
We fish a lot of 22 and 24s where I fish, and it helps to have a rod that has enough give that when a large fish runs he doesn't pull the hook. However rods with soft backbones make it difficult to move the larger fish out of the current. I picked up the TnT Zone 9'5 wt to fill that void in my rods. It's easy to cast both tight and wide loops. It gives me the backbone when I need, while also giving me the feel and give when the fish make a run. I liked this rod so well, I went back and bought the 7wt for inshore saltwater.

Excellent lightweight, smooth-loading med fast 5 wt
This rod was not what I was expecting. I was expecting a fast rod, with a soft tip. However it was a smooth loading rod, with power to spare. It was accurate under 65', and could single or double haul to 75' without effort. It also had sufficient backbone to muscle a big trout, but with a soft tip to protect your 6x or 7x tippet. I liked this rod so much, I'm now in the market for the 7 wt version.

Douglas Sky G 9ft 4wt
Great Rod for fishing my HopermDropper Rigs this time of year!I have put away my Hardy Ultralight 9ft9in Nymphying Rig and have really enjoyed using my Sky G 4wt!

Sky G 8’6” 4wt
Great rod for dries and nymphs, that can be used at many distances. Have been looking for a nice all-around rod for PA streams and I think I have found it.

Best rod ever.
Overall, this is a fantastic rod! I have the 9ft 5 wt and it became my favorite rod the first day out on the water with it. It has a light swing weight and is sensitive. It is accurate at all trout distances. I would not hesitate to own this same rod in other weights. Only drawback I can come up with is that it isn't made in the U.S.A.

Douglas Sky G 4 and 5 weights
The 8 foot 6 4 weight is a joy to fish on smaller streams and has proven to be excellent for bow and arrow casting in tight situations. The 5 weight is such a versatile fishing tool that is equally fun to fish.

Phenomenal
Light, accurate and powerful. Just the perfect 5wt to do everything from small dries, to dry-dropper and light streamers.

Deadly accurate
There is a reason this won the Yosemite Shootout Presentation award. It's very accurate and easy to cast. It's an extremely light and great quality but I have to take a star for looks.
