Awesome boots

This is my first pair of Hanwag boots, and I'm loving the lacing system. I watched some videos on Hanwag's site prior to purchasing and found them helpful. They are stiffer and heavier than my previous hunting boots (Crispi Lapponia I); however, I like the stability and traction. The Alverstones are known to have a deep heel pocket to prevent slippage and blistering, which has worked out great for my feet. Worth the money.
