Midges and Scuds imitate a multitude of small aquatic insect nymphs. Common patterns for rivers below a dam or spring creeks. This is a trout pattern for sunny days when you see small insects in the air. Fish this pattern under an indicator or as a dropper under a dry fly with light tippet 5X - 7X.
