Scott Wave Fly Rod

The Wave Series is build for high line speeds and controlled tight loops to slice through wind. Anglers will feel it's light in hand and easily delivers flies to the intended target. Wave fly rods are well-suited to land powerful fish species in both fresh and saltwater. This versatile series is equally at home slam fishing the flats, casting fast sinking lines for stripers, or chasing carp and bass at the local fisheries to deliver high performance across a wide variety of fishing situations.

Scott rods incorporate the breakthrough design and materials developed. The most recent Wave series benefits from all these innovative technologies. They are lovingly handcrafted in Montrose, Colorado. Appointed with top grade components like SiC stripping guides, custom machined aluminum and graphite reel seats, and super grade cork, Wave rods are finished with as much thought as the technology loaded blank designs. Wave rods provide great performance value. Available in 9 ft 4 piece in line weights 6 through 12.

I recommend this product

Great rod for windy days on the flats.

The Scott Wave performed beautifully. It handles easily but has plenty of backbone to stand up to the wind. The only issue I had was that the guide broke the rod tip when he clumsily bent it while the tying to get it out of the boat rod holder—on the last day of the trip. I found out that evening that Scott require the buyer to register the product within 30 days of purchase, in order for them to cover repairs. Luckily I was able to get the warranty application in to them on time, as the rod broke on day 30, post purchase! You should definitely make sure your customers are aware of Scott’s warranty policy.
