This versatile pattern serves as a great attractor of trout and the parachute provides visibility for anglers to track. The colors on the spectrum between blue and red are most visible to fish. Trout will see this purple fly as a brighter color than we do and much brighter than a green color fly. So by adding a little purple this helps to ensure a fish takes your fly.
