Abel SDS Ported Fly Reel in Fish Graphics Winner of the Best New Saltwater Reel 2016 ICAST/IFTF Show! Abel SDS takes the same power, reliability and smoothness of its smaller sealed drag reel and creates a power-horse saltwater reel to master the largest of gamefish.

Abel's maintenance-free sealed drag system is offered in sizes 7/8, 9/10 & 11/12. While completely sealed from salt and grime, the unique mult-disc drag system yields 20+ pounds of braking power. The SDS will fight fish on light tippet as well as provide the stopping power needed to fight tarpon. The Reel frame spool and drag knob are all composed of 6061-T651 cold finished aerospace grade aluminum.
