You have to see it and touch it to appreciate the quality and design of the hand-crafted Hardy Duchess!
After a decade, Hardy has introduced the first new classic reel. Offered in 4 sizes, Hardy has spared no expense. The reel is machined from 6061 T6 bar stock aluminum, anodized a beautiful Titanium color and assembled and polished by hand in Alnwick, England.
The inventive design offers dual line guards, a stainless steel spindle with a lubricant filled recessed area. The frame and spool are fully ported and boast a new and improved click check system - sounding like music to a fly fisher!
Other features include nickel silver spool latch bar, LHW/RHW conversion, a dovetailed reel seat which is fortified by screws and a wooden handle treated to prevent swelling. Hardy included important details like fine knurling for better grip on the outer edge of the frame & spool. See why the Duchess reel outshines the rest in its class.
